I installed this program the other day on my phone called proxoid. It allows you to plug your phone into you computer and the surf the interweb via your phones data connection. Its not going to stream movies from netflix, but this means that I can at least get on the internet on my computer anywhere that I have a decent data signal on my phone. My phone can do lots of web stuff, but for some things you really just need a computer.

Mario wants me to set up his machine now :)

listening to Cnet podcast, The Real Deal, and heard about a site where if you are setting up a new computer or reformatting your computer or something there is a website where you can install all the little things that you had on your old computer really easily.  Its called NiNite.com

You can install a bunch of things like browsers, im programs, media programs a bunch at a time, and apparently it does so without installing all those annoying tool bars that each of the little programs try to get you to install.

This is a wordpress plugin that allows you to show a picasa web album (all the pictures) in a wordpress blog post or page. When you click on the picture it opens up a lightbox window so you are not taken away from the page. But your pictures live on the Picasa server. Lighter on your site, and you can manage all your photos in one location. Google you are getting more and more of my life, but you make it so easy for people to put together great plugins like this.
