I wrote a post this morning from my new blackberry to the blog using opera mini so I could go through the dashboard and as I went to add a category before posting it all disappeared. I think it was trying to auto save. Grrrr. Now I know get the post posted and then edit the fancy stuff later. At least then the text will be up there.

I am listening to my mp3 player and having just moved all of my music over to it I am listening to a bunch of stuff I haven’t listened to in a while. I just decided to listen to the Green Day album Dookie, and I am currently listening to the song “Welcome to Paradise” and thinking to myself, WHY did I use parts of this song in the letter that you write to support your application to college.
I only applied to one college, and for some reason Grinnell College thought it wise to allow me to enter their hallowed halls of education (for that I am thankful btw). I wish I could see my application letter. I am sure it was very moving… what with the Green Day references….

Today I went to work business as usual. But tomorrow we fly off to Rome, Italy. In the time that Mario and I have been together we have gone on one big trip each fall. The first year we went to St. Thomas for a few days. Last year we went to London for a week, and this year its Rome.
Its so wierd, until today when I was getting the guide books and a phrase book that we really are going to a different country with a different language TOMORROW. This is going to be the first time that I have been somewhere that I don’t speak the language.
So what am I most excited about? Obviously the food is going to be amazing. The sights, the sounds, the smells its going to be so exciting.
Mario is going to bring his phone so we will have access to wi-fi and I will be uploading some pictures and maybe some video.
Well I am off to pack!
