I am not a huge fan of the whole gore for gore and terrors sake but there are a couple of grind house type movies that I love. I am talking about the double Rodriguez and Terrentino double feature that they put out I guess late last year early this year. The first on we saw was Planet Terror which was the Rodriguez film. It was campy and fun and filled with latino actors. It was the first movie we watched in the netflix instant viewing. And then last night at the blockbuster we decided to watch Death Proof which turned out to be equally awesome. It was one of those movies that really has you on the edge of your seat
Anyway at the end we were cheering so I would say it won in our minds.
With regards to the double featureiness of the movies if you were to sit and watch them the whole way through it might end up feeling too long. But if you watch them on their own at different times I think you would enjoy each one more. But that’s just my take on it.

Oh and they would make great films to be projected like an outdoor movie.

Well I am lazy, and I have been using Twitter a little bit (www.twitter.com/seatowngrrl).
I just got a bike! I want to start riding to the park and ride and back and go for some rides with mario and my sister.

Oh and the studio has walls. They are just about ready to paint. The. Painting of the walls shouldn’t be too much of a pain, its the floor that I am not looking forward to dealing with. We have this really huge table thatis going to be HEAVY. Anyway. That’s that these days.

One of the reasons that it took me so long to finish my masters was because I am a huge slacker. I really had no good reason to have taken so long. And it appears that the same thing has been happening to my mixed site. I worked so hard on it last winter. Every spare moment I had I was putting into hacking it and making my vision a reality, and when it was done I took a break and that break became longer and longer and now it is just turned into lazy.
What jolted the MSR back into my every day life was an email from a person in the UK asking if I knew of any counseling resoures that I might refer them too. I put my site out there and forgot that people see it. I feel like I slipped in the responsibility that I put out for myself. Luckily I remebered that there was a site in the UK that might work for and was able to email it to this person. Hopefully it will be someplace he can connect to.
The funny thing is, that this morning I got an email from someone in Australia who runs a site for families who are Australian and African. Who knows in addition to working on college stuff maybe I will broaden my site to inclide international and cross cultural resources. It could actually make some sense seeing as my dad is from another country.
