I just remembered it’s possible to upload a video file through this plug in so this is the trial run.
File info:
Type: video 3gp
Size: 435.99 kb
My first attempt at uploading a video

Update: (5 minutes later)
Viewing the link to the video file didn’t really work from my mobile phone. I did just look at it from my computer, and initially it used the Nokia media player which was fine. I then chose to open it with Quicktime which seemed to work just fine as well.
The quality of the video is so so. While it is coming from a fairly good mobile phone, its not the greatest in terms of clarity, BUT this test was more to test the actual uploading process and what the post would look like so quality aside it came out pretty well. I could imagine making a little montage video of some photos taken through out the day (because I can do that sort of stuff on my phone) or posting short little updates during vacation.
I love this plugin (now that I moved to a linux server) and can use the full photo and video posting capabilities. LOVE IT! Thank you Andy Moore !
Just recently Mario and I started a business, as web hosting resellers (company name still undecided). Anyway, as part of this we moved all of our websites over to the new hosting company. The easiest to move this far have been the strictly html sites. Just copy and paste. I still have to go through and check all the links on the gallery site, but for the most part its fine.
The blogs are proving a little trickier to move. I was happy to see how easy the transferring of information from my old database to this new one was, but then I had to move all of my theme and plugin files. The Plugins are easy enough to reactivate, but now I have to make sure that the files and paths to all the files are all correct so that the plugins can find the photos and things that they are looking for.
The basic blog functions seem to be working fairly well. But it appears that my mobile plugin (the one that makes this site viewable on mobile devices) is not happy. I guess its back to the hacking board.
The good thing about this transition, is that I can rethink my photo plugin. I had started out using the AWESOM Pixel Gallery. I liked it but it was not quite what i wanted. I was browsing the forums and found a list of other photo plugins. Browsing that list I found another photo gallery plugin called NextGen Gallery. I have used it on my moms site (www.lindaorantes.info) and have really liked the ease of use in terms of managing the photos, and then also the user experience of someone looking at the photos.
Anyway, I am sure that the site will get back to fully functional soon.
