The Mono-Daisy dynamic
I have a good feeling that this is what happens at home with Mono and Daisy.

This morning The Mono introduced me to a new method of getting me out of bed. On the week days in the morning I get up when Mario gets up to take a shower. I let Mono out of her crate and feed her. Then we climb into bed (Mono and I) and cuddle/nap for a while. On these days she would be content to sleep a while longer instead of going for a walk, so I am usually the one to make her get out of bed (which is why I think she is the perfect dog for me). On weekends or if she some how managed to weasel her way into bed for the night and she feels that I have slept long enough and that its time to get out of bed she begins to walk on my head and lick my head and walk on my neck and that generally annoys me enough to the point that I get up and feed her and let her out. But this morning she added a new ingredient to the mix, something really special. puke. Yes folks this morning she puked on my head. It was …. eeeewww… disgusting to say the least.
See last night when we went out to do something and we left the house, I forgot to put the garbage up where she couldn’t get into it. when we came home I was pleased to find that the garbage was not strewn about the house, but I noticed that she had something odd on her face. She is generally guilty of something so I looked around and around the house and finally found in her crate (where she takes all her savory garbage treasures to gnaw on them) an empty bag of marshmallows. We had taken marshmallows on our camping trip and i had thrown away the extras when we got home because we weren’t going to be eating them. Well in my head that we did not include Ms. Mono, but she had other ideas when we left the house last night.
I figured she would get sick at some point. About two weeks ago the rascal had gotten into some chocolate (the vet was called but all was well) and she did puke up a little as well. So much sugary fluff would make anyone feel yucky. I guess when she got excited it all just came back out in the morning. All I can say is that at least it smelled like marshmallows.
So after getting cleaned up, and putting on my new ‘I (heart) LAMP’ shirt, I was sitting with Mario and she decided to come jump on us, and puke yet again. This time Mario got hit with the sugary fun as well. It was a great morning.
She seems better now thank goodness. I think the puking madness fun is over. I hope she doesn’t learn how to do it on purpose just to get me out of bed really fast.
