That’s what everyone who does amazing things says. The idea comes in a dream but then its up to the dreamer to implement their vision in the real world.

In my dream last night I was still one paper away from my masters degree and I had finally figured out what that paper would be. I started to wake up towards the end of the dream and as I fought to stay asleep ( which is hard when a dog is walking on your head wanting to be attended to) I realized that in the waking world one of the things that has been lacking has been the intellectual side of me.

I have not been posting to my mixed site, I started a painting and had a few ideas but haven’t felt really compelled to work through my ideas. My first excuse for letting things go to the wayside was planning the wedding. Then it was recovering from the wedding. Then exams always come around. And then I started working on the weight loss. But I realize now that those intellectual interests that I have energize me and feed the other parts of my personality.

I woke up with an idea and questions floating around in my head. Now its time to put away excuses. There is no try, only DO!
