1) wish for another free day this weekend.  Maybe if I wish hard enough tomorrow will magically be free day.

2) Upload some more things to Etsy Oh and My sales site is http://SeatowngrrlBoutique.etsy.com Someone favorited me on Etsy, which means that someone other than myself has seen the one print that is up there.
Also I need to polish up my descriptions and my header and some other things, but this is a first step.

3) Laundry.  of course there is always laundry to do.

4) hem pants – I got new pants last week.  Nice new businessy pants.

5) make a new page for my Weightwatchers postings.  Because if people are reading this maybe they don’t care.

6) shower.   What its going to be a slow day.

7 figure in more detail my christmas list and thinking about what I want to give people.

8) oh yeah and lunch and dinner at some point.

thats my day and I most likely will not stick to it.

Oh and maybe for next weekend get my art blog up and running.  I have some projects I want to start commenting on.  I may also try to make another page on this blog that will pull the posts from the orantes gallery site and show them here as well.

friday weigh in (11-21)

last week was a wierd one food wise.  I blew through all of my extra points or the week by sunday and then the rest of the week was sort of good, But I ended up over my points for the week by 9.5.  I spent the whole week just trying to keep my “indiscretions” to a minimum and waiting for friday to wash my weight watchers sins away.  So Friday came and I gained .2 pounds back, but really when I think about it, it makes sense.  I ate over the plan amount so of course i will gain weght.  Yesterday I was fairly gunshy of food.  We went to Applebees where they have some Weight watchers points meals.  I got one, and it was small, and looked a little sad, not like the festive meals you get other wise  (ofcourse the festive meals you get otherwise are the problem I suppose).   And so i ended up eating under my points which they say you shouldn’t do too often.

We went into the studio last night and I started working on my christmas list and I had a cup of tea in there, and would have had one of my yummy chocolate soy icecream sandwiches from Trader joes, but it was so cold in there.  Shoot I should have had two!  next time my preciouses next time….

well I am off to rack up some activity points.  My goal this week with thanksgiving is to only eat my regular amount of points and any activity points that I rack up during the day and save my weeklies for Thanksgiving.  And then on Thankgiving day itself, I want try to rack up like 6-10 activity points to help offset the yummy dinner that we will be going to.

OK well maybe just a little bit more.  So in case you didn’t know, I am overweight.  Actually technically I am obese.  Once I saw that I was shocked into being more disgusted with my weight.  I have been feeling more an more uncomfortable with myself especially when I would walk past a mirror and realize that I did not in fact look anything like what I thought I looked like.

Additionally, the weight is affecting my health generally messing with my inner workings and so forth and I would like for that to stop. Mario and I would like to have some little ones (based on how many times we have been hearing the question lately we need to get started!)

So I started Weight Watchers.  Growing up I have seen my mom on and off weight watchers, and when she really followed the program she really has great results.  So I joined up.  They offer a group at my work and the school payed for half of our membership fee so that was really great.

I have been working the program for just over two weeks now.  The first week I lost 1.4 pounds, but due to a clerical error I thought I had gained weight.  I was so sad the second week and worried that I even if I were good I wouldn’t be able to lose weight.  I think that pushed me to be really good and really follow the plan closely the second week and I ended up losing 2.8 pounds (twice as much!).  My clothes are starting to feel a little less snug and that just makes me want to keep going.

each day and week you have a certain number of points that you can eat, so I like to scheme and see what I can eat with my points.  So far I have been able to find some decent stuff at trader joes.  You just have to be careful with that store because you reach for something that might be yummy but turns out to be far too decedent for a diet.

Anyway.  in the end I want to end up 60 pounds lighter.  That would put me about 130-140.  It would be GREAT if I could lose about 6 pounds a month and be down to that weight in about 10 months.  But we will see how my body does and when I plateau and so one.  Hopefully I can keep up a steady pace even if its not fast, it would be nice to be able to go down at least a little bit each week. (in the end I guess thats up to me;)
