1) wedding is tomorrow. I have known about it for a while, but not until this morning in my gut am I starting to realize it. (although that feeling may also be due to hunger a little bit)

2) birdcage veils are not as easy to make as one would think. Especially when one is trying to use oneself as the model. (my headmodel is sleeping right now and probably wouldn’t appreciate me messing with his head.)

3) Tomorrow is going to kick ass!

At work yesterday, Sheila, Jamie, and Jennifer through Mario and I a WONDERFUL party. It was a leopard and Robot themed party. I was hesitant to have the party in the first place because the idea of a girly froofy wedding shower made me cringe, but when they came up with the leopard and robot theme I was IN!

So they had one game in which two teams dressed Mario and I up with makeshift sorts of outfits. The pictures below show the magic that they were able to whip up in 10 minutes!

I am having a crisis of identity (No not another post about race). If you have looked at my site lately you may have seen that I have had several different themes come and go. I haven’t had the time or patience to really sit down and redo the one i have. I liked it before, but I just think its time to change it.

Anyway. Its two weeks until the wedding. I was thinking that if we invited about 120 people that about 100 maybe less people would come, but Nope. There were not that many people who were unable to make it, and then a few people who I wasn’t estimating would bring more people are. I guess thats how it goes. It is going to be a great weekend.

My dress is really almost done. It needs buttons and to be hemmed. Then there is a belt that I am going to do very simply for it.

The veil, I am going to be making a birdcage veil, its such a variable thing in the ways that I have seen them online. It will be fun to make.

Honestly I am more nervouse about the whole party for 120 people that we are supposed to be the center of, than I am about the fact that we are getting married. That part already seemed right. I knew it would happen at some point.

Another thing that is giving me some nerves is the weather. May in Seattle really is a schizophrenic time of year. Yesterday it was very nice out, today it is raining. We will have to set up a contingency plan for if the day is yucky. It will suck if we don’t get to be out side because then we will have rented chairs for nothing, but come what may we will roll with it.

Compounding this stress is the fact that at work is the second week of law school exams. I work longer hours and am doing more during the day so its not like I have alot of time to think about wedding stuff. But this too shall pass. I am going to take 3 days off before the wedding and mario is taking the week before the wedding completely off so things will get done somehow.

Anyway. time to get back to work.
